What does it mean to open science to public participation? How can Citizen Science contribute to solving societal challenges? And how can it transform the scientific landscape?
We are back with the 4th edition of our Citizen Science School series! This winter school focuses on the topic “Participation, Power and Perspective: Opening Research through Citizen Science”. Are you interested in Citizen Science and its participatory approaches? Are you a doctoral candidate, a postdoc, or a Citizen Science practitioner aiming to develop a project idea? Or are you someone further along in the planning and implementation phase?
From 19 January to 24 January 2025, participants will identify and develop crucial skills and competencies needed to plan and conduct a Citizen Science project. You will:
➡ immerse yourself in debates around Citizen Science
➡ get to know different Citizen Science approaches, methods, and tools, their possibilities and limits
➡ gain insights into local Citizen Science projects
➡ study criteria for planning and conducting high-quality Citizen Science projects
➡ work on your own project plan and engage in extensive peer learning
Find out more on our website below and apply by 16 September 2024!
