Ich kandidiere für das Gremium „Sex and Gender in Medicine“, da es essentiell ist, dass sich heutige medizinische Forschung und Lehre für geschlechtersensible Inhalte stark macht und Sex und Gender-Aspekte in allen medizinischen Bereichen mitgedacht werden.
Meine Expertise in historischer Geschlechterforschung, die sich mit Geschlechtsunterschieden, ihrer medizinischen Erforschung und Begründung auseinandersetzt, ermöglicht es mir, einen differenzierten Blick auf heutige Forschung zu werfen.

I am running for the commission "Sex and Gender in Medicine" because it is essential that today's medical research and teaching stand up for gender-sensitive content and that sex and gender aspects are taken into account in all medical areas. My expertise in historical gender studies, which deals with gender differences, their medical research and justification, allows me to take a differentiated look at today's research.
