Der Graduate Campus ist schon lange in meinem Unialltag präsent: sei dies durch Kurse zu überfachlichen Kompetenzen, durch den Best-Practice-Leitfaden für die Doktoratsstufe oder durch den Peer-Mentoring Grant, dank dem ich Teil eines kleinen Netzwerks für Karriereförderung bin. Nun möchte ich selbst zur Förderung des wissenschaftlichen Nachwuchses an der UZH beitragen und die Vergabeprozesse von Anträgen aktiv mitgestalten. Diese verantwortungsvolle Aufgabe würde ich gerne übernehmen, weil sie mir im interdisziplinären Kontext den effektiven Einfluss auf Entscheidungen ermöglicht und mir die Gelegenheit gibt, Einblick in die Abläufe eines überfakultären Gremiums zu gewinnen.

The Graduate Campus has been present in my everyday university life for a long time: be it through courses on interdisciplinary competences, through the best practice guide for the doctoral level or through the peer mentoring grant, thanks to which I am part of a small network for career development. Now I would like to contribute to the promotion of junior researchers at UZH and actively shape the application process. I would like to take on this responsible task because it enables me to effectively influence decisions in an interdisciplinary context and gives me the opportunity to gain insight into the processes of a supra-faculty committee.
