Das Mitwirken im Senat erscheint mir eine spannende Herausforderung, da man Einblicke in die Verhandlungen zu gesamtuniversitären Themen erhält. Hier sehe ich einerseits persönlich für mich die Möglichkeit, universitäre Strukturen besser zu verstehen und die Verabschiedung weitreichender Entscheidungen nachvollziehen zu können. Ganz besonders deshalb bin ich aber auch von der Wichtigkeit der Vertretung der VAUZ überzeugt und möchte meinen Beitrag leisten - so würde sowohl mit Blick auf Lehre wie auch auf Forschung ohne den Mittelbau nur ein Bruchteil von dem erbracht werden können, was die UZH ausmacht.

Der ASVZ ist eine wunderbare Möglichkeit, Balance in Studium oder Job zu finden, und bietet bereits ein beachtliches Programm. Dennoch gibt es immer Verbesserungsbedarf und als begeisterte Sportlerin würde ich gerne am Erhalt und Ausbau des ASVZ mitwirken.

Participating in the Senate seems to me to be an exciting challenge, as one gains insights into the negotiations on university-wide topics. On the one hand, I personally see this as an opportunity to better understand university structures and to be able to comprehend the adoption of far-reaching decisions. On the other hand, I am convinced of the importance of the representation of the VAUZ and would like to make my contribution - in terms of both teaching and research, only a fraction of what the UZH is capable of would be achieved without the mid-level faculty.

The ASVZ is a wonderful way to find balance in studies or jobs and already offers a remarkable program. Still, there is always room for improvement and as an avid athlete, I would love to be involved in maintaining and expanding the ASVZ.
