Dear Early Career Researchers, Dear Colleagues

We would like to draw your attention to the seventh call for applications for the career development program 
Filling the Gap of the Faculty of Medicine.

The funding period of the 7th edition of Filling the Gap begins on January 1, 2026 and ends on December 31, 2027.

• is the career development program for talented and motivated clinician scientists.
• offers support for two years.
• enables physicians and dentists to advance their research.
• specifically promotes their academic careers.
• aims to increase the number of female professors and women on academic boards.

• Financial support: Free research time of 20% to 50% of total working hours paid by the University of Zurich
• Planning: Targeted career planning together with the clinic management
• Mentoring: Appointment of a mentor to accompany the academic career

New applications are possible between February 3, 2025 and March 31, 2025.
