Adjustment of wages to inflation for project employees as of March 1, 2023
In 2022, UZH creates new permanent positions in teaching and research as part of "Next Generation @ UZH". This fulfills the wish of several generations of UZH mid-level faculty. In spring 1968, Helmut Holzhey and Hans-Ulrich Wintsch submitted a proposal to their UZH colleagues on assistant positions to join forces and discuss the work situation of UZH assistants.
73.5 % of UZH mid-level faculty staff regularly work overtime. Employees can't claim compensation for extra hours – to which they would be legally entitled – without time sheets that have been signed off by the supervisor. The results of the VPOD Zurich survey the are now available.
The petition was launched for the increased creation of permanent positions for researchers and teachers after the doctorate. The signatures were handed over to the parliament on October 8, 2022.
