Vacancy calls in Eurodoc

The board of Eurodoc announces calls for expression of interest for a number of volunteer positions in Eurodoc administration, as representatives of Eurodoc in various European level organisations, and as experts.

Current Vacancies

Eurodoc is teamwork at its finest and if you feel inspired to join, working groups are open for all early career researchers.


Applications are welcome until 15.08.2024 to be submitted to the Eurodoc administrative board via board@eurodoc.net


Expression of interest are welcomed for the following positions:


Eurodoc administration


  • WG Equitable Opportunities and Sustainable Research Cultures”
  • 1-2 English Language Officer(s) 
  • 1-2 Newsletter Officer(s)

Representatives in the working groups of CoARA


  • 1-4 members of WG Ethics and Research Integrity Policy in Responsible Research Assessment for Data and Artificial Intelligence (WG ERIP) 
  • 1-4 members of WG Early-and-mid-Career Researchers (EMCRs) – Assessment and Research Culture (WG EMCRs) 

To apply for these positions you must submit a letter of support from a member organisation of Eurodoc.


Representatives in the working groups of ISE


Eurodoc is a member of the Initiative for Science Europe and thus actively participates in its working groups. In the 2024/2025 term Eurodoc would like to facilitate the participation of more early career researchers in the work ISE, and thus we call for expression of interest from ECRs in participation in the following working groups.


  • 1-2 members of WG Horizon Europe
  • 1-2 members of WG Research’s Careers

To apply for these positions you must submit a letter of support from a member organisation of Eurodoc.


Participation in the committees of the Conference of INGOs


  • Civil Society Committee on the Rights of the Child in Europe: Protecting and promoting the well-being of children of all ages
  • Committee on Migration Issues
  • Committee Sports and Human Rights

About Eurococ

Eurodoc is the European Council of Doctoral Candidates and Junior Researchers, founded in Girona 2002, representing doctoral candidates and junior researchers within Europe.
It is an international federation of 25 national organisations of PhD candidates and  junior researchers from 23 countries of the European Union and the Council of Europe.
Junior researchers are welcome to contribute to Eurodoc's mission.

Objectives

Representation of junior researchers at the European level in matters of education, research, and professional development of their careers.

Advancement of quality of doctoral programmes and the standards of research activity in Europe.

Promotion of circulation of information on issues regarding junior researchers

Event organisation and contributions to debates, assistance in the elaboration of policies about Higher Education and Research in Europe.

Establishment and promotion of cooperation between national associations representing doctoral candidates and junior researchers within Europe.
